Crowdsource
Crowdsource websites offer an online marketplace for micro-tasks or small jobs. Employers sell their work from pennies to hundreds of dollars, depending on the type of work. Some characteristics are:
- Bigger money-making potential. Crowdsource websites tend to have larger pay for few jobs or more jobs for less pay. Either way, this translates to more $/hr compared to search & earn websites.
- Time-consuming. In order to make more money, you will also have to spend more time.
- Sometimes skills are required. For example, writing articles or transcribing audio.
- Longer sign-ups. Address and SSN may be needed for tax information.
- Possible 'bad' employers or requesters. Some employers may reject your work and you may not get paid.
